Papelera San Andrés de Giles S.A. started its tissue paper manufacturing and conversion activities in 1981. The plant is located at the junction of National Highway #7 and Provincial Highway # 41, on the outskirts of San Andrés de Giles, Province of Buenos Aires. The premises have a built area of 13,325 square meters and a total area of 140,000 square meters.
Toilet paper was the company’s first and sole product at the beginning of business. At present, we sell from low-cost products made of recovered fiber to double-ply cellulose products printed in two colors.
We also manufacture special papers such as paper towels and toilet paper for dispensers,
facial tissues and paper for hospital use, diapers, sanitary napkins, one-, two- and three-ply napkins and filters, among others.
Products are sold directly or through representatives. Our headquarters are located at San Andrés
de Giles but we also have an office in the City of Buenos Aires for more efficient marketing. We sell throughout Argentina and also abroad, namely Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru, Spain, Italy and Mexico.
Permanent investments as a consequence of the progress of the business and the ensuing need to upgrade our industrial structure have turned Papelera San Andrés de Giles into the most significant high-tech plant of its type in the country. As a result, it has been able to develop a market of special papers both in Argentina and aboard and has become the supplier of leading companies such as Procter & Gamble, Serenity, AM Clean and Celtrap, among others.
